Fascinating history, untouched natural beauty and exceptional cuisine, Croatia has it all and cruising is one of the best ways to experience everything this amazing destination has to offer.
On this unforgettable holiday, your gorgeous floating hotel will take you to two well-known historic cities, an array of picturesque islands and here’s the best bit, you only have to unpack once!
We’ve searched high and low to find a beautiful ship that’s small enough to visit Croatia’s tiny unspoilt islands, yet large enough for everyone to have the comfort and space they need to relax. The MV Adriatic Pearl carries less than 40 passengers, and we’ve chartered it exclusively so the only people on board will be your crew and other Travelsphere holidaymakers.
The carefully crafted itinerary includes guided tours of must-see sights and enough free time for you to make the holiday your own. Delve into the history of your destination, soak up the atmosphere or sample the local cuisine – the choice is yours! And, on top of all that, as you cruise from port to port, you can soak up the sun on deck and swim in the crystal-clear waters of secluded coves and shimmering bays.
Croatia is becoming more and more well knowns for its great wines, and this morning we have an included wine tasting. You will try a variety of locally sourced wines with an insight into how they are made and what parts of Croatia produce the best varieties!
After lunch we’ll arrive in Korcula, a laid-back Croatian island blanketed by dense pine forests. The reputed birthplace of famous adventurer Marco Polo, it boasts a well-preserved medieval walled city. Step ashore and you’ll discover atmospheric streets watched over by the majestic St Mark’s Cathedral. Built in the 15th century from pale-coloured limestone, this impressive building features a façade decorated with intricate figures and statues, and a lovely bell tower topped by an ornately carved dome.
This afternoon, you can join your Holiday Director and discover the sights of Korcula on a guided walking tour. The choice is yours! As night falls, you’re free to stay in Korcula Town and dine in a restaurant of your choosing. Alternatively, if you'd like to try some Dalmatian specialities, our optional excursion to Zrnovo, one of the oldest villages on the island, includes a home-cooked dinner.
